For some time now, the image of the legendary Speedster 356 behind his camera lens had been circling in Dani’s mind. But dreams do not come to life by themselves. So he reached out to RCH Automotive, the company based near us in Katerini, which handcrafts replicas of this unforgettable car.

To our great delight, the company’s owner, Socrates Gaganelis, together with Dimitra Mike, agreed to provide us with two cars for the needs of the photoshoot — one beige and one blue. Alongside them, our friend Natalie Tsiliakidou lent us a little of her time and a great deal of her talent. Among all the props we gathered, the optical store of Alexandros Poulios helped us with a wonderful collection of 1960s-style sunglasses.

And so, at the foothills of Olympus, in Old Vrontou, the day dawned slowly. The sun rose with a kind of drowsy grace, lighting the parked Speedster 356. A dream of a car. A replica of an era when travel was still a promise, not merely a route. Natalie entered the frame as though she had stepped out of an old photograph, and as the light of dawn brushed the car’s metallic lines and front lights, the camera recorded the delicate balance between then and now.
This was not a photoshoot about speed or luxury. It was about the feeling of time standing still — that rare moment when the past breathes again inside the present. And we, too, were left with images from that small fragment of silent sunrise, where light, mountain, and machine became one. Now, we share them with you.
