What is Pixelscape all about;
Photography has enchanted millions worldwide since its inception. The idea of instantly capturing reality on paper, and now digitally, attracts everyone because it approaches the boundaries of art with the mere press of a button, however effortless that may seem. The truth, however, is that photography requires much more than that. And although it may sound like a solitary pursuit—since you seemingly only need light, a subject, a camera, and a piece of yourself—we realized that the art of photography needs something more. It needs human connection, collective thought, friendship, shared knowledge, and humor.
Beyond the click of the shutter, we discovered that photography is about accepting and recognizing each other’s personal effort; it is about a kind word and honest, responsible, and constructive criticism. It is a love for creativity that multiplies through our members’ shared passion for this art. Pixelscape began with four people from Pieria who met by chance and discovered that together they could grow and achieve more. And even though people have come and gone throughout Pixelscape’s journey, the core idea remains unchanged: a mature collective bursting with enthusiasm to create within the magical world of photography.
