Project: Light & Shadow

There are moments when light does not merely illuminate but it rather speaks. And there are shadows that instead of concealing they actually reveal.

Project Light & Shadow is not merely a photographic record. It is a confession, a dialogue between the photographer and the world, A world that at times shines, and at others whispers its melancholy.

Each image was born out of waiting. Not the technical waiting for the right frame or the perfect exposure, but the existential patience required to listen to a place. To feel the aura of a corner, the echo of silence in a narrow street, the pulse of a fleeting glance in half-light.

In this project, light is never alone; it is always accompanied by shadow. Together they weave a narrative full of contrasts that are not meant to provoke, but to remind us that beauty is never monotonous. It is tender, fragile, complex.

The photographs of Light & Shadow search not for perfection. They search for truth. And truth, more often than not, is found exactly where light gently touches darkness and darkness, in turn, gives depth to the light.
