Project: Architectural Structures

When the synapses of the human brain revealed to us that beyond survival there is also the beauty of creation, our prehistoric ancestors began to emerge from their caves and create the first architectural works that would become their homes. Since then of course, humanity has created, and at the same time destroyed, millions of structures, sometimes in order to build new ones, and sometimes because it was seized by its own madness.

When hearing the word architecture, many people immediately think of buildings. In our minds, the word architect brings to mind the person who designs and builds houses, apartment blocks, palaces, and so on. Yet the architect, and by extension the architectural creation, is also the word that defines an intelligent creation or invention. The architect is the one who designs and creates, and at that point the sentence should probably end.

Religion likens God to the great architect of the universe, and we have surely all heard the phrase “the architect of war.” So architectural creations can also be a road, a sculpture, a bridge, a machine, even art itself, whose meaning would not exist without humanity. So as not to confuse you too much with our title, in this article we present mainly buildings, with a few light touches of other architectural creations.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed them when, with our cameras, we were “architecting” them.
