My name is Soula Ioannidou, and I hail from Katerini.
I have been involved in photography as an amateur for the past four years, with this interest reaching its peak during the pandemic. In such a painful period for everyone, photography was the one thing that offered me emotional pleasure and peace.
Winning the award for best photograph in a local competition gave me the motivation to pursue even more strongly the desire to capture my own point of view of the world through my clicks.
The photographs I take do not simply record a moment. They record my feelings, my ideas, my expectations, everything that makes me who I am, and I share that with everyone who sees them.
