Spring. There is perhaps no other word that contains the beauty of the world so fully. A visual stimulus transformed into artistic creation, painting with its rich colours all the expressions that, in the end, make up human civilisation.
It must have been the first surprise in the thoughts of humanitys, as it took its first steps into the astonishing adventure that would follow. It was spring that inevitably led the first hesitant steps of human presence onto the road of hope, rebirth, and the acceptance that nothing is futile, since everything is born again.
Perhaps it also offered the seeds of transcendental searching to the religions that emerged as a result of this endless recreation.
Whatever spring may be, in the end, we honour it. And as its humble servants, we offer at its altar the photographic expressions of our personal gaze, hoping to share with you its richness and beauty.
